Congrats to everybody representing Renzo Gracie in last week's Greek Nationals and for their amazing results! Our team finished 5th place with a total of 76 points out of 16 teams. Not a small feed for a small team! A big thank you goes out to all the coaching stuff both in Greece and in Cyprus: Professor Pantelis Panayides, Panayiotis Melodias, Alexis Kallis and Andreas Achniotis for preparing the team they way they did! Kudos

3 Day Seminar with Prof.Pantelis Panayides 14-15-16/Jan/2016

Με μεγάλη επιτυχία ολοκληρώθηκε το 3ήμερο σεμινάριο BJJ του Παντελή Παναγιδη στην Aspida Team Renzo Gracie.

To σεμινάριο παραδοθηκε σε τρεις ενότητες που κάλυψαν τεχνικές από top position, bottom position και guard passing από τις θέσεις αυτές και ήταν προςανατολιςμενο σε αγωνιςτικες τεχνικες έν όψει του Πανευρωπαϊκού Πρωταθλήματος που θα διεξαχθει στην  Λιςαβονα από τις 20 – 25 και στο οποίο θα λάβουν μέρος 11 αθλητές μας.

Η συμμετοχή και τις τρεις μέρες ήταν πολύ μεγάλη, με συμμετέχοντες απο όλη την Κύπρο.

X-Mas Party 28/Dec/2015

A massive congratulations to Nikolas Kaglantzis and Markos Pefkaros who received their black belt from Prof. Pantelis Panayides, we are proud to have have two more Aspida black belts representing the team and sharing their knowledge on the mat. As the pictures prove, a number of belts were changed tonight, all of which were well deserved. Ending the year on a high note, the annual Christmas party was a mix of food prepared by all of us and music by DJ Thomas Heaven. The team said goodbye to the year and is looking forward to a healthy and happy 2016.

ATRG Winter Grading Xmas Party 28/Dec/2015

28/12/2015 Aspida Team Renzo Gracie winter grading went down. We congratulate all the team members on their journey into new colors. We end this year on a high note with many successes and step into 2016 stronger than ever. May the new year bring health, happiness and even more colored belts!

The highlight of the event the promotions of our 2 new black belts Nikolas Kaglanzis & Markos Pefkaros!Tonight after 15 years of sacrifices and loyalty finally paid off with the best way possible.

John Murray Belt Promation 26/Nov/2015

Congratulations to John Murray who has been promoted to blue belt by Prof. Andreas Achniotis, Prof. Alex Kallis and Prof. Pantelis Panayides. John is one of the most dedicated students, travelling an hour to come train and even competing on the IBJJF circuit regularly.
